      Position Overview

      Intermedia is seeking a strategic and highly connected Director of Analyst Relations (AR) to lead and elevate our global Analyst Relations program while serving as a visible market evangelist. This role will own the company's engagement strategy with industry analysts covering UCaaS, CCaaS, and adjacent markets, and will additionally drive Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) initiatives and actively engage in relevant industry forums (e.g., Reddit, peer communities, and practitioner networks).

      The ideal candidate brings deep domain expertise in UCaaS and CCaaS, a strong understanding of the competitive landscape, and established relationships with the key analysts who influence buyer decisions in our space (e.g., Gartner, Forrester, IDC, Omdia, Frost & Sullivan, Metrigy, etc.).

      This leader will shape perception, strengthen our market positioning, and ensure Intermedia's differentiated value is clearly understood and reflected in analyst research, reports, market evaluations, AI-driven search experiences, and online industry conversations.

      Key Responsibilities

      Analyst Relations Strategy & Leadership
      • Develop and execute a comprehensive global Analyst Relations strategy aligned with corporate growth and positioning objectives.
      • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with leading UCaaS and CCaaS analysts.
      • Lead participation in major analyst evaluations (Magic Quadrant, Wave, MarketScape, etc.).
      • Drive structured engagement plans to proactively influence analyst perception and coverage.

      Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) & AI Visibility
      • Develop and execute a GEO strategy to improve Intermedia's visibility and positioning within AI-powered search engines and generative platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity).
      • Partner with Content, SEO, Product Marketing, and PR to ensure authoritative, differentiated, and technically accurate content is optimized for AI indexing and citation.
      • Monitor AI-generated responses related to UCaaS/CCaaS market comparisons and ensure Intermedia is accurately and competitively represented.
      • Identify content gaps and develop strategies to improve inclusion in AI-driven research and recommendation outputs.

      Online Community & Market Evangelism
      • Act as a visible and credible evangelist in industry forums and practitioner communities, including Reddit, Spiceworks, LinkedIn groups, and other relevant platforms.
      • Establish and maintain a positive, authoritative brand presence in online technical and buyer communities.
      • Monitor sentiment and competitive narratives across forums and respond strategically and appropriately.
      • Partner with Marketing and Communications to develop thought leadership content that fuels organic discussions and strengthens brand advocacy.

      Market Intelligence & Reputation Management
      • Track analyst commentary, peer reviews, AI-driven summaries, and community discussions to identify perception gaps.
      • Provide executive-level insights on analyst sentiment, competitive positioning, and emerging industry narratives.
      • Develop coordinated response strategies for misinformation or competitive claims impacting reputation.

      Cross-Functional Collaboration
      • Prepare executives for analyst engagements and public-facing thought leadership opportunities.
      • Ensure alignment between analyst messaging, AI-search positioning, content strategy, and product roadmap communication.
      • Work closely with Product Marketing, Corporate Marketing, PR, SEO, and Digital teams to create a unified perception strategy.

      Required Experience
      • 8+ years of experience in Analyst Relations, Product Marketing, Corporate Marketing, or related strategic roles within the UCaaS and/or CCaaS industry.
      • Deep knowledge of unified communications and contact center competitive landscapes.
      • Established relationships with leading analysts covering cloud communications and CX technology.
      • Demonstrated success influencing outcomes in major analyst evaluations (MQ, Wave, MarketScape, etc.).
      • Experience driving executive-level messaging and positioning strategies.

      GEO & Digital Expertise
      • Demonstrated understanding of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), AI-driven search behavior, and modern content visibility strategies.
      • Experience partnering with SEO and content teams to improve inclusion and positioning in AI-powered and traditional search environments.
      • Familiarity with how LLMs source, summarize, and reference enterprise technology vendors.

      Community & Evangelism Capabilities
      • Experience engaging authentically in technical or practitioner communities (e.g., Reddit, peer review platforms, IT forums).
      • Strong executive presence and ability to serve as a credible public-facing industry voice.
      • Ability to navigate public discussions with authority, nuance, and brand sensitivity.
