      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Plan, direct, and coordinate activities of team personnel to deliver projects on time and within budget
      - Provide technical leadership for engineering design and construction functions within assigned projects
      - Manage team productivity and ensure projects are closed out and invoiced accordingly
      - Develop customer proposals, including detailed technical scope, schedule, budget, and resource management
      - Conduct performance evaluations for department team members and provide mentorship and training

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical discipline with 3+ years of experience in the utility industry, engineering design, and/or project management
      - Supervisory experience of 0-2 years
      - Thorough knowledge of electrical distribution assets and/or communication equipment construction
      - Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities while maintaining schedule and budget
      - Proficient with Microsoft Office software applications and ability to analyze data for departmental financial reporting

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Master’s Degree in Engineering or Business Administration
      - Professional Engineering (PE) License and/or Project Management Professional (PMP)
      - Experience in utility Long Term Infrastructure Improvement Programs (LTIIP)
      - Familiarity with pole loading software (Spida Calc, O-Calc, Pole Foreman, or Katapult) or other construction modeling software (AutoCAD)
      - Knowledge of industry utility or joint-use software (Katapult, SPANS, NJUNS, IkeGPS)
