- Lead a Technology and Innovation team that improves or replaces all technical aspect of the distribution engineering process.
- Develop and coach in depth understanding of products, customers, service time investments, sales centers, and various measurements of the route distribution system.
- Develop and coach product and customer strategies and develop a distribution system around these strategies. Identify waste areas in the distribution system.
- Ability to redesign the distribution system to maximize growth and reduce waste.
- Cross functional support for the DSDE MSL Tours, BMB and Go To Market.
- Understanding of sales centers, product mix, and areas serviced.
- Ability to learn to use strategic and dynamic distribution restructure tools.
- Develop project presentations clearly describing goals, methodology, analysis results and recommendations for all levels of management involved.
- Responsible for ensuring and maintaining a safe environment through compliance of all Company, Local, State and Federal mandates, or programs.
- Must have the ability and experience to act as an "influencer" to the frontline and sales leadership, independent from sales, marketing, customer or supply chain team partners.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including a positive "team-player" attitude -- within the department and outside.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and can interact at all levels of the organization
- Understanding of the BBU sales frontline and other DSDE roles are a plus.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or a combination of education and/or experience may be substituted.
- An understanding of the impact of technology to the project's outcome.
- Strong computer skills with extensive use of Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft 365.
- Understanding of and experience with distribution structure design is desired.
- Analytical and interpersonal skills to carry out projects.
- Ability to self-direct projects and manage time.
- Some travel and overnight stays required.

Position Summary:
Drive the business by working with teams to follow detailed project plans, participate in planning sessions, develop/improve technology and establish tasks and due dates. The person filling this role must be a highly motivated individual who leads with behaviors that encourage innovation, change, and teamwork. Carry out analysis to understand product, customers, route structures and costs of distribution. Model and redesign the distribution structure to improve efficiencies, maximize growth and reduce costs.
