DHL, an award winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Drivers Mate to play a vital role in our daily distribution requirements. To succeed in this role, you should be familiar with all Manual Handling Procedures, with a committed attitude to Continuous Improvement, ultimately ensuring that all order deliveries are handled safely and in a timely manner.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices plus a high level of customer service, you will

• Drivers Mate for Trade Team Reading.
• Helping drivers deliver alcohol to pubs, clubs and restaurants.
• Multidrop deliveries.
• High levels of manual handling.
• Happy working with alcohol.
• Opportunity to be upskilled.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Previous practical experience as a Drivers Mate, within a logistics or similar environment.
• Previous experience of the preparation, distribution and handling of volume orders.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload.

A recognised qualification in Manual Handling or Logistics will be well received.
