  Position Summary
  
  PART-TIME TEMPORARY
  
  The Engagement and Outreach Specialist will lead coordinating communication, collaboration, and engagement efforts for the WY2TEC intervention at the Specialty Care Center. This position will serve as a key liaison between the project team, community partners, and patients to ensure alignment, transparency, and effective implementation of program activities.
  
  The Specialist will lead stakeholder engagement efforts, including organizing and facilitating meetings, collecting and synthesizing feedback, and assisting in the preparation and dissemination of project updates and outcome reports. This position will also support patient-facing activities, such as outreach to individuals who have missed appointments and assistance with enrollment in the Ryan White and Medicare Part D programs, to enhance patient retention and continuity of care. This is mission critical UNMC By strengthening collaboration among healthcare providers, community organizations, and patients, -to lead the world in transforming lives through premier education, innovative research, and extraordinary patient care. The role is essential to ensuring that the WY2TEC intervention advances equitable access to care and improves health outcomes for vulnerable populations across Nebraska.
