      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Design, develop, test, and deploy modernization and automation tools for the employer's Military Sealift Command
      - Evaluate requirements and integrate data from various systems to build software solutions
      - Implement LLM-based automation and support the development of dashboards or tools for port engineers and planners
      - Establish processes and suggest improvements to enhance workflow efficiency
      - Take ownership of assigned tasks and proactively seek new projects to support

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Typically 1–2 years of experience in software engineering, automation, or full-stack development with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field; or 2+ years of progressive software development experience in lieu of a degree
      - Foundational experience in at least one modern programming language (Python, Java/Kotlin, JavaScript/Node.js)
      - Ability to design and implement basic REST APIs and backend routes
      - Experience with relational or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
      - Strong communication skills and ability to operate with minimal supervision

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Internship or project experience in full-stack development, data processing, or AI/ML integration
      - Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
      - Experience with Docker or lightweight containerization
      - Exposure to analytics, anomaly detection, or process improvement methodologies
      - Familiarity with Agile or iterative development practices
