Job Description
- Req#: 13472
- Makes visual and measured inspection of products the majority of the time to ensure conformance with standards and determines if product meets all requirements.
- May inspect incoming materials, outgoing materials, or products or assemblies throughout the manufacturing process.
- May apply singular or multiple inspection processes using various appropriate NDE methods.
- Able to maintain, adjust or calibrate inspection equipment.
- Completes inspection records and reports.
- Familiar with appropriate codes, regulations, applicable procedures & standards.
- Follows all safety rules and practices.
- May be involved in safety committees or CI initiatives.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- For new hires previous work experience and/or certifications may be considered for the corresponding job level position.
- In training.
- Basic knowledge of inspection tools and measuring equipment ·
- Basic knowledge of operational function to be inspected ·
- Ability to achieve appropriate NDE certifications within 6 months ·
- Under supervision of a Level II or III Certified NDT Inspector.
