      Location: Dallas or Houston, TX

      EnSafe is searching for a highly motivated Environmental Air Quality Compliance Specialist to add to our compliance team providing multi-media support to clients nationwide.

      EnSafe Environmental Compliance teams are involved in evaluating the compliance status of industrial facilities, quantifying environmental liabilities and risks, and assessing properties for real estate transactions. EnSafe is committed to providing pragmatic, cost-effective strategies for maintaining compliance, minimizing liabilities, and improving environmental performance

      Air Quality Compliance Specialist Responsibilities:

      • Developing air pollutant emission calculations, permit-by-rule and new source review permit applications, and compliance demonstration reports
      • Secondary to air permitting, assist with developing and revising various EPA and/or state-required written plans, programs, and submittals (spill prevention/contingency plans, stormwater plans, groundwater protection plans, waste minimization plans, hazardous chemical inventory reports, etc.)
      • Regulatory Research
      • Performing environmental inspections at client facilities


      Air Quality Compliance Specialist Requirements:

      • BS in Engineering, Geology, Biology, Chemistry, or Equivalent Sciences
      • At least 2 years of relevant experience; experience with air emission source permitting/compliance is highly desirable
      • Effective written/verbal communication, presentation, and organization/analytical skills
      • Strong organizational and time management skills while working on multiple projects for multiple clients. Candidates must be detail-oriented and exhibit good listening

      and note-taking skills.

      • Knowledge of MS Office Programs
      • Regular travel to client locations (local and regional) with occasional travel nationally. Some travel will be overnight and may be for extended periods.
      • Candidates must be willing and able to work independently with minimal oversight in some circumstances.
      • Ability to lift to 50 pounds
      • Valid Driver’s license required
      • Commitment to uphold EnSafe standards of quality and safety
      • Ability to work in a fast-paced and diversified environment
