What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Attend training to obtain and maintain EMR system certifications
- Participate in workflow analysis, data collection, and system testing
- Communicate effectively with clinical and nonclinical staff regarding requests and updates
- Document work efforts in detail to support audit reviews
- Proactively troubleshoot system issues and implement resolutions for end users
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of an Associate Degree preferred or equivalent work experience in a healthcare setting
- One year of work experience in a healthcare setting, demonstrating leadership characteristics
- Working knowledge of hospital and/or outpatient operations
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to obtain EPIC Certification within 90 days of employment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in patient care, patient accounts, registration, scheduling, claims, and/or health information management
- Strong analytical skills to effectively approach problem-solving
