- Have at least 2 years of experience working at a top-tier equity research firm or financial institution.
- Possess hands-on experience analyzing and extracting insights from filings available through the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission EDGAR database, including 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K reports.
- Demonstrate strong financial statement analysis skills and structured analytical thinking.
- Have excellent written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Minimum commitment of 10 hours per week.
- Initial engagement of at least four weeks, beginning mid-February.
- Strong performance may increase opportunities for selection on future projects.
- This is an independent contractor engagement.
- The role is fully remote and may be completed on a flexible schedule.
- Project timelines may be extended, shortened, or concluded early based on performance and evolving needs.
- The work does not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
- Payments are issued weekly via Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
- Please note: Visa sponsorship, including H1-B or STEM OPT support, is not available for this role.

Compensation: $100-$120 per hourWe are recruiting U.S.- and Canada-based Equity Research Experts to support a research initiative in collaboration with a leading foundational AI laboratory. This engagement focuses on applying real-world equity research expertise to enhance and evaluate advanced AI systems designed for financial analysis.
Role Overview
In this position, you will leverage your experience in equity research to analyze, interpret, and extract insights from publicly available corporate filings and financial disclosures. Your domain expertise will help inform and refine AI-driven research workflows and outputs.
