What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide disease state, product, and therapy management education to the Rett community
- Serve as a dedicated resource for patients and caregivers, addressing their individual needs
- Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to enhance patient education and support
- Conduct in-services for healthcare providers to promote the Family Support Educator role
- Identify and execute leadership opportunities within the Family Support Educator team
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences preferred; RN, MSN, or MBA is a plus
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry or Patient Support
- At least 2 years of experience in Patient Education, Patient Access, or Leadership roles
- Strong understanding of rare diseases and experience in patient/caregiver education
- Ability to travel up to 70% depending on territory
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 7+ years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry with extensive patient engagement expertise
- Experience in Account Management and Advocacy
- Strong history of successful cross-functional collaboration
- Demonstrated success in mentoring and developing team members
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy
