Job summary
This is a temporary role for an experienced Mental Health Nurse to join the multidisciplinary team at Emerald Place Clinic, a 12-bed CAMHS service for young people aged 13-18 with a range of mental health conditions and complex needs. Main duties of the job
As a qualified Mental Health Nurse (RMN), you will ensure young people in this 12-bed CAMHS service receive high-quality care, while also supporting your colleagues and promoting positive teamwork. You will work a rolling rota of 3 days or nights one week and 4 days or nights the next, with shifts from 7:30am-8pm or 7:30pm-8am. Your responsibilities will include providing compassionate nursing care, assessing and planning care, mentoring team members, and maintaining accurate records.

Emerald Place Clinic is a general adolescent inpatient unit for the care and treatment of young people aged 13 up to the age of 18. Young people who are admitted to the unit will have a primary diagnosis of mental illness across a wide range of disorders and complex needs.
These could include Mental Health conditions such as Mood Disorders and acute Psychosis. Additionally young people may have co-existing additional needs such as Neurodevelopmental Disorders, including mild Learning Disabilities or Autism. A young person could also be admitted if they have disordered eating.
