What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead the interim and year-end external audits for OHSU Healthcare and affiliated entities
- Prepare and coordinate audit schedules and supporting documentation for financial audits
- Oversee month-end and year-end accounting close processes for OHSU Healthcare
- Prepare and review financial statements, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets
- Analyze and resolve variances on financial statements, providing written explanations and recommendations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, plus 4 years of progressively responsible accounting experience
- Healthcare financial experience and familiarity with federal and governmental agency healthcare surveys
- Experience with annual financial audits
- Highly proficient in PC usage, especially with database and spreadsheet applications
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with attention to detail
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Oracle, Axiom, and Epic systems
- Additional healthcare experience
