SPA has an immediate need for a Financial Analyst - Payroll.
Responsibilities
Required to validate State Department payroll lines to ensure correct Line of Accounting (LOA) alignment for both TI 21 and TI 97. Conducting audits of payroll documentation and data to identify discrepancies or inaccuracies. Investigate and resolve any irregularities or enquiries related to payroll. Prepare reports on audit findings and recommending changes in payroll operations and systems. Handle state agency audits and maintains close relationships with regulatory agencies. Assisting with updating work instructions and other business process documentation for Civilian Payroll. Coordinate and lead quarterly audits reconciling time keeping system and payroll systems. Collaborate with various departmental partners in the audit process.
