Job Description

- Process and keep note of all parent account payment and balances
- Supervise children in the childcare room, ensuring a safe, positive, and engaging environment.
- Greet parents/guardians and check children in/out according to established procedures.
- Monitor and interact with children through age-appropriate games, activities, and play.
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare space, including sanitizing toys and equipment.
- Respond calmly and quickly to any emergency or behavioral situation, following facility protocols.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians about any concerns or incidents.
- Adhere to all safety and security policies of the Fitness Center.
- Minimum age: 18+
- Prior childcare, babysitting, camp counselor, or teaching assistant experience strongly preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire).
- Friendly, patient, and dependable, with strong communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple children of varying ages in a group setting.
- Part-time position: hours vary based on fitness class and facility schedule.
- Weekday morning availability a must.
- Compensation: $20/hour.

We are seeking a caring, responsible, and energetic coordinator to provide safe and attentive childcare services for members and guests of our Fitness Center. The coordinator will oversee children in our designated childcare area (Kids Kottage) while parents/guardians participate in fitness classes or facility activities. This role also requires managing parent payment accounts, daily schedule and supplies.
