The Food Service Supervisor provides supervision for all food activities in the school building. This includes ordering, preparing, and serving food as directed by the Food Services Director. Prior food service supervisory experience in K-12 or college dining preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills are required. Ability to demonstrate strong leadership and computer experience in Word and Excel required. Prior experience with K-12 POS (Point of Sale) systems preferred.
The individual must be able to stand, walk, and bend for long periods of time and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. above his/her head. The successful applicant will be dependable and able to work effectively with adults as well as students. The applicant should have corrected hearing or vision within normal ranges, and must be able to pass a child abuse history clearance, state police background check and FBI Finger print clearance.
