Job Description

Design marketing and growth assets including:
Social graphics, paid ads, email visuals, landing page assets
Slide decks for marketing, sales, and partnerships
Event graphics, program logos, and promotional materials
Create and maintain reusable templates for social posts, ads, pitch decks, and internal teams.
Collaborate with Growth Marketing on campaign creative, iterating quickly based on performance.
Work with the Head of Design to expand and refine Leland’s brand system, including typography, illustration styles, iconography, and layout patterns.
Help develop the visual identity of new programs, sub-brands, and product initiatives.
Support UX/Product designers with light visual asset creation when needed (graphics, illustrations, simple UI treatments).
Manage files and exports for multi-channel delivery (web, mobile, print).
Contribute to a growing internal creative library of assets and templates.
1–3 years of design experience, ideally in a startup, agency, or in-house marketing environment.
A strong portfolio demonstrating:
Visual design craft
Clear typography and layout skills
Branding or brand-adjacent work
Marketing or campaign creative
You’re comfortable moving fast and iterating quickly.
You take pride in polish and detail, but you’re also scrappy when needed.
A strong sense of visual storytelling and composition.
Proficiency in Figma (bonus: Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator/Photoshop).
Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, partnerships, and product.
A collaborative, positive attitude and a desire to grow inside a small but mighty design org.
Motion graphics or light animation experience (After Effects, Lottie, etc.)
Illustration ability or comfort adapting illustration styles
Experience with social-first design, paid advertising creative, or direct response design
Experience building or contributing to a brand system
Experience designing for education, coaching, or marketplace products
