      GROUNDSKEEPER

      The primary purpose of the Groundskeeper is to maintain and care for the grounds, including but not limited to mowing, planting, weeding, fertilizing, and pruning plants and trees.This person will also maintain landscape features, keep walkways clear of debris, perform minor repairs on groundskeeping equipment, and operate vehicles and mowers.

      The impact you'll make:

      • Mowing lawns, trimming edges, and maintaining the overall appearance of grass areas.
      • Planting, cultivating, watering, and fertilizing flowers, shrubs, trees, and other plants.
      • Trimming and pruning shrubs, hedges, and trees to maintain their shape and health.
      • Removing weeds and applying mulch to flower beds and around plants.
      • Spraying plants with insecticides, herbicides, and fungicides to control pests and plant diseases.
      • Raking leaves and clearing debris from walkways, parking lots, and other grounds areas.
      • Cleaning trash containers and keeping public areas free of litter.
      • Operating various groundskeeping equipment, including power mowers, edgers, trucks, and tractors.
      • Performing minor maintenance and repairs on groundskeeping equipment.
      • Assisting with setting up and dismantling for special events, such as assemblies or recreational activities.
      • Reports any issues or problems that may arise to the appropriate Director and/or Administrator


      Qualifications :

      • High School Diploma or equivalent
      • 2+ years experience with gardening, groundskeeping, and/or landscaping is preferred
