You will manage a small team of Commercial Partnership Account Directors and together with them, be responsible for delivering the overall bespoke content partnership budget targeting partnerships of £100k plus. The role offers huge diversity working across all Future media brands and the breadth of London media agencies.
What You'll Be Doing…
The Head Of Commercial Partnerships should have a strategic eye and be able to seek out new opportunities, highlight areas of growth and capitalise on new revenue streams. You will be managing a small team of account directors and therefore some experience managing or mentoring others would be desirable. Working alongside other heads of departments you’ll be tasked to grow partnership revenues across the business and therefore you should be confident in working with senior leadership and managing internal relationships.
The role is a sales position and the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. You will be responsible for selling large scale, £100k plus, partnerships to media agency partnership teams and other key agency stakeholders, as well as directly to clients and PR agencies.
As a senior level role, this role reports directly to the UK Group Commercial Director. You will be part of a broader, busy and lively sales team working across all Future brands and audiences. As a sales person you will be set monthly and quarterly targets and will be personally responsible for generating £2m+ of annualised revenue. In addition, your team will be responsible for delivering another £3m.
The role requires gravitas and authority in the market and within the client base you serve. An established network of agency contacts and specifically within partnerships teams contacts is preferable.
You would be supported by our planning and creative solutions teams who are responsible for writing and designing the response to RFP’s and assisting with bespoke sales collateral. It is therefore not necessary to have experience in either design or pitch writing however a creative approach and the ability to come up with campaign ideas would be beneficial.
