      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Review and interpret patient medical record documentation to assign ICD-10-CM and CPT codes accurately and timely
      - Code complex ambulatory surgery and observation visit medical records
      - Communicate with physicians regarding documentation requirements and collaborate with Clinical Documentation Specialists
      - Maintain current knowledge of coding and documentation changes, rules, and guidelines
      - Enter data into the electronic health record system for billing and reporting purposes

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma or Equivalent required
      - RHIA, RHIT, or CCS with a minimum of one (1) year of full-time ICD-10-CM & CPT-4 coding experience required
      - Technically competent in electronic health record applications and software
      - Must demonstrate coding knowledge and proficiency with a passing score of 90% on an on-site skills assessment prior to hire
      - Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently with minimal supervision

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Pediatric coding experience highly desired
      - Experience using Microsoft Office Excel and Word
      - Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
      - Goal-oriented, flexible, and energetic
