      Reports to: VP of People & Culture, General Counsel

      Cooperates with: All Departments

      Primary Responsibility: Performs Human Resource functions for the MIRATECH enterprise.

      Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

      • Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews.
      • Support employee onboarding activities, including new hire orientation and paperwork.
      • Assist in HRIS data entry and maintenance.
      • Participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
      • Contribute to the development and updating of HR policies and procedures.
      • Organize and maintain physical HR files.
      • Assist in archiving and purging outdated records.
      • Generate letters for employees verifying information such as insurance coverage, employment status, etc.
      • Manage and monitor the HR voicemail box.
      • Conduct employment verifications for current and former employees.
      • Maintain accurate records of verification activities.
      • Assist with HR/Legal situations as needed.
      • Support HR with IT tasks when requested.
      • Help out with office management, people operations, and contribute to MIRATECH’s healthy work culture.

      Qualifications:

      • Degree seeking student in Human Resources, Business or similar.
      • Interest of employment law, compliance, benefits, payroll.
      • Data entry skills.
      • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
      • Detail oriented, excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work.
      • Proficient use of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
