What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Facilitate the ADA Interactive Process to provide reasonable accommodations for qualified employees with disabilities
- Coordinate the Modified Duty program, ensuring appropriate documentation and follow-up
- Handle FMLA/Non-FMLA Medical Leave Administration for assigned employee case load
- Conduct training for management and employees regarding HR-related policies and procedures
- Provide technical assistance and advice to management and employees regarding ADA and Modified Duty
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of division-level human resources experience
- Minimum of 3 years of in-depth Employee Relations, ADA, and/or FMLA experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
- Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information
- Exceptional organizational and analytical skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of Arizona Revised Statutes related to State service employment and ADOA rules, policies, and procedures
- Experience in conducting training sessions for HR-related policies and procedures
- Familiarity with FMLA, ADA, and FLSA employment-related laws
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proven ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal relationships
