What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as an advisor and support to management in developing HR strategies aligned with organizational needs
- Provide performance management guidance to management including coaching, counseling, and corrective actions
- Conduct workplace investigations and consult on workforce planning strategies
- Analyze employee engagement data and partner with leadership to create action plans for improvement
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and government regulations affecting HR functions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- A minimum of four (4) years of Human Resource experience
- Two years of experience developing and implementing successful HR strategies
- Working knowledge of human resource disciplines including compensation practices and employee relations
- Two years of labor relations experience, including grievance handling
- High School Diploma or GED; BA in HR Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience providing HR leadership for multiple sites and/or states
- Human Resources certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR
- Familiarity with HRIS such as Workday
- Strong relationship management and strategic HR consulting skills
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
