  Immediate start – Aerotek is hiring Grinder/Shop Labor positions in Liberty Lake, WA at $17–$19/hr!

  Job Description

  We are seeking motivated individuals to join our sheet metal manufacturing team as Grinder/Shop Laborers. This entry‑level role involves taking parts after they’ve been deburred and grinding them using a hand sander. You’ll be responsible for grinding, polishing, and smoothing out parts and welds, preparing them for powder coating. Many employees start in grinding and progress to other areas of the shop, making this a great opportunity to learn and grow.

  Responsibilities

  • Grind, polish, and smooth out parts and welds.
  • Prepare parts for powder coating.
  • Follow safety protocols, including wearing masks, ear muffs, and glasses.
  • Take direction and perform tasks as instructed.

  Essential Skills

  • Prior production or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Attention to detail in working with blueprints, sheet metal, and power tools.
  • Experience with deburring and grinding.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs above the head.
  • Ability to work in hot and dirty conditions.

  Job Type & Location

  This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Liberty Lake, WA.

  Pay and Benefits

  The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
