      About Us

Exponent Partners is transforming how nonprofits use information systems, not as burdens to manage, but as multipliers of mission impact. We help organizations align technology with strategy so they can serve more people, prove impact to funders, and adapt with resilience in today’s volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous environment.

      The Role

We’re looking for an Impact Partner. This role is a strategic advisor and relationship leader who guides nonprofit executives in connecting their mission goals to technology strategy. You’ll help organizations achieve measurable outcomes, navigate change with confidence, and ensure their systems are flexible, scalable, and built for long-term impact. Acting as the anchor of multi-year partnerships, you’ll deepen client relationships while identifying opportunities to expand ExP’s impact and achieve revenue growth targets.

      What You’ll Do

Act as a trusted advisor to nonprofit leaders and boards, providing guidance on aligning systems with mission strategy.

      • Cultivate long-term, trust-based relationships that extend beyond individual projects.
      • Drive intentional, measurable progress by turning mission goals into clear IS objectives and success metrics.
      • Help clients navigate disruption with clarity and resilience, ensuring systems support agility and scalability.
      • Capture and share insights through thought leadership, contributing to white papers, blogs, and sector conversations that position ExP as an industry leader.
      • Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless collaboration and a cohesive client experience.
      • Identify opportunities to expand client engagements and manage against revenue generation targets.

      What We’re Looking For

      • Education and/or relevant experience — Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MPA, or related) preferred. Equivalent nonprofit leadership or consulting experience will also be considered.
      • Background as an Executive Director, Program Director, CIO/CTO, consultant, or business development leader in the nonprofit sector is strongly valued.
      • Proven ability to influence senior nonprofit executives and boards with clarity and credibility.
      • Experience in business development and managing against revenue targets, with success in expanding client partnerships.
      • Familiarity with nonprofit information systems (CRM, case management, data strategy).
      • Skilled in outcome measurement, impact storytelling, and sector thought leadership.
      • Strong facilitation, relationship-building, and advisory presence.
      • Experience with agile/iterative approaches and adaptive planning.
      • Skilled at outcome measurement and impact storytelling.
      • Commitment to knowledge stewardship and sector learning.
      • Demonstrated skills in applying AI to own work for efficiency, learning, and velocity.

      Why Join Us

At Exponent Partners, you’ll join a team that works shoulder-to-shoulder with inspiring nonprofits tackling society’s biggest challenges. Together, we’re not just implementing systems, we’re reshaping the sector by turning technology into mission-first, outcome-driven impact. You’ll build trusted relationships, influence executive decisions, and contribute to industry-wide learning and thought leadership.
