      Job Summary & Responsibilities

      The QA Compliance Intern shall work cross-functionally to review events and complaints as set forth by the FDA and other regulatory agencies and internal processes and procedures. Task requires internal and external follow-up to assure complete and accurate event files, complaint detail, and product performance information. Intern may also be asked to help with initial failure analysis of complaints based on experience. Supports systems and processes that Post Market Quality (PMQ) requires to manage complaints, regulatory reporting and other related activities like trending and presentation of data to cross functional teams.

      • Ensures complaint investigations are adequate, accurate, detailed and timely
      • Perform failure analysis of returned devices and troubleshoot electronic components.
      • Able to work in a regulated environment in accordance with internal operating procedures and external standards and regulations.
      • Perform tasks to obtain adequate information to ensure proper documentation and closure of each complaint.
      • Learns to perform data analysis of complaint data, and to present it to management and cross functional teams.
      • Understands the complaint handling process and it’s overall interactions with other systems and departments, and suggests changes or improvements as a part of the internship.

      Role Requirements

      • Working towards an M.S. or B.S. in technical or science degree. Preferably Electrical/Electronic Engineering

      Skills and Knowledge

      • Have at least one year completed as part of technical or science degree.
      • Preferable candidates have 2-3 years completed.
      • Completed at least 2 lab classes (preferred)
      • Excellent written and oral communication skills along with good presentation and technical writing and be able to work in a team environment or independently
      • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word and PowerPoint
      • Ability to understand data and use of it to provide information to stakeholders.

      Target Pay Range

      $20.00 to $25.00 - the final starting salary offer to the successful candidate will be determined by evaluating several factors, such as education, experience, knowledge, skills, internal equity, alignment with market data, and geography. *Nevro is a multi-state employer, so the target pay range may increase or decrease depending on the city/state.
