Seeking a self-confident and proactive Internal Auditor with 3-10 years of direct audit/internal audit experience. The ideal candidate should possess a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification (active and in good standing) or be a practicing Certified Internal Auditor. Applicants must be familiar with The IIA's International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF). This position requires a self-starter who can collaborate in a team setting and who can contribute effectively to our audit processes.PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS1. Performs audits on the company’s financial records, statements, and reports, verifying accuracy and consistency.2. Performs audits on the company’s information systems, assessing compliance with data security and storage requirements.3. Reviews internal controls, policies and procedures for effectiveness.4. Performs audit work, including plan preparation, workpapers, findings, and associated reports; verifies the accuracy of financial records as they pertain to assets, liabilities, receipts, expenditures, and related transactions.5. Drafts and presents reports of findings and analysis; identifies and recommends revisions and improvements to practices and procedures6. Performs other related duties as assigned by Sr. Internal Auditor and/or Internal Audit ManagerThe duties listed are not set forth for the purposes of limiting the assignment of work.
