      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Serve as a D.C.-based representative on public policy concerns impacting vulnerable communities
      - Build and sustain relationships with governmental leaders and their staffs to represent World Relief's policy positions
      - Research, analyze, and monitor international policies affecting World Relief's programs and beneficiaries
      - Support media and public relations opportunities, including responding to media inquiries
      - Assist in developing internal systems to enhance the advocacy team's efficiency

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Mature and personal Christian faith
      - Commitment to the mission, vision, and values of the employer
      - Minimum of 3 years’ experience in international development, humanitarian assistance, government service, or policy advocacy
      - Strong understanding of global development issues, including migration, refugee issues, and poverty alleviation
      - Demonstrated experience in policy analysis, advocacy, and Congressional engagement

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with biblical/theological studies and/or direct service to refugees/immigrants
      - Preference for applicants who are racial or ethnic minorities and/or have lived the refugee or immigrant experience
      - Bachelor's or Master's degree in international development, public policy, international relations, or a related field
