      Investment Analyst - Join Lehigh University's Investment Team

      Lehigh University seeks an Investment Analyst to support our Chief Investment Officer in managing the university's Long Term Portfolio, encompassing endowment and long-term operating assets. This full-time exempt position offers an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the financial stewardship of one of America's premier research universities.

      About the Opportunity

      As Investment Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in portfolio management, working directly with senior leadership to implement investment strategies that support Lehigh's academic mission. Your responsibilities will span the complete investment lifecycle, from strategy development to performance reporting.

      Position Number: S81090

      This position is a Grade: 12 - 40 with an approximate salary range of $132,220-$160,850 and is subject to change based on experience, skills and qualifications. Your total compensation includes a base salary plus variable incentive pay.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of the Long Term Portfolio and existing investments
      • Monitor investment managers including performance, risk exposures, and news flow
      • Acquire information and analyze data from various databases for portfolio analytics
      • Assist in preparing and organizing materials for Investment Committee meetings
      • Gather data and perform analysis for periodic asset allocation policy reviews
      • Apply knowledge of investment strategies across public equities, credit, hedge funds, private equity, and asset allocation
      • Track potential managers, investments, and market trends
      • Support new manager diligence through calls, meetings, research, and comparative analysis
      • Contribute to research projects on investment strategies, markets, countries, and industries
      • Prepare reports for weekly team meetings and Investment Committee presentations

      Qualifications:
      • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field
      • One to three years of related work experience
      • Experience working in an investment role performing due diligence on investment strategies
      • Strong organizational, analytical & interpersonal skills
