- Lead multinational teams to deliver IT services for the Transformer Production Planning and Operations portfolio.
- Manage vendor contracts and deliverables; plan the annual budget and develop a multi‑year strategic roadmap.
- Work with the business on the backlog of change requests and coordinate implementation with vendors and partners.
- Define, plan and execute new projects in the portfolio.
- Support the business in defining end‑to‑end process excellence and efficiencies, particularly regarding data flows across systems.
- Work with support teams to build required integrations and automations.
- Manage and facilitate governance meetings (CAB, monthly updates, weekly team meetings, ad hoc sessions).
- Ensure all applications comply with Hitachi Energy IT Governance and Cyber Security standards.
- 5+ years of Manufacturing IT experience.
- 3+ years of SAP MM and PP module experience.
- 3–5 years of experience managing IT project and application teams.
- Knowledge of finance, budgeting and financial reporting.
- Ability to communicate effectively with business users and technical teams.
- Knowledge of the Hitachi Energy IT Project Governance process.

The opportunity
Hitachi Energy is currently undergoing a period of strong growth that requires significant expansion of our manufacturing base to meet the rising demand in the electrical distribution market. To meet this demand, our Transformer manufacturing business is adding new sites and rolling out a number of major IT initiatives aimed at improving the efficiency and quality of our operations.
This role is part of the Transformer Business Solutions Team (BST) and will function as the Services Delivery Manager for Transformer‑specific applications supporting Manufacturing Operations. The suite of applications owned by this role includes, but is not limited to, Project Planning, Sales and Operations Planning, Production Planning, and Shop Floor Operations.
This is a Manufacturing IT role. Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience developing and supporting IT applications in a manufacturing environment. The ideal applicant should have extensive experience with MES systems, Production Planning solutions, or other shop floor control systems. This role also requires at least 3 years of SAP experience with exposure to the Material Management and Production Planning modules.
You will lead global delivery teams, manage system vendors, support strategic projects, and help shape the digital roadmap for the Transformer production environment. You will also collaborate closely with business stakeholders to improve end‑to‑end processes, enhance data flows, and ensure high quality IT service delivery across multiple manufacturing sites.
