Position: JIRA Developer/Admin
Location: Denver, CO
Duration: Full-Time
Job Title JIRA Developer/Admin
Relevant Experience
(in Yrs) 8-10 yrs
Technical/Functional Skills Java/Groovy, advanced JQL, Script Runner, JIRA
Roles & Responsibilities Development experience in Java/Groovy
Demonstrable experience customizing JIRA projects with various schemas, complex workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes and notification schemes
Demonstrable experience in writing automation scripts preferably in Groovy/Python
Ability to write advanced JQL (Jira Query Language)
Ability to write custom plugins for Jira
Experience in performing Atlassian installations, migrations, and plugin installation
Maintaining customizations across versions and instances of JIRA
Experience developing Jira extensions and behaviors using Script Runner
Experience developing application/scripts in Groovy
Good to have Knowledge on various ServiceNow modules, i.e. Change Management, Incident Management, Contract Management, Configuration of CMDB & Asset management.
Generic Managerial Skills To work independently or as part of a team
Good communication skills and ability to work with multiple teams
Work towards process improvements and development standards
Knowledge of computer hardware and software components and their interaction with operating system software, and excellent troubleshooting skills
Prioritize the work on customer demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Education B-Tech/Masters
