Job Description

- Schedules activities for procurement, engineering construction, start-up and operations;
- Analyzes contract documentation and derive schedule requirements for the project;
- Develops baseline schedules ensuring the full integration of scope, schedule, costs, risk and resources;
- Interface with all project stakeholders to develop an all-encompassing logic network between external influences in the project including but not limited to review/approval processes, external design and supply of material by others;
- Identifies and tracks all changes to the project scope;
- Revises schedules when required due to design changes, labor or material shortages, or other interruptions;
- Produces, maintains and revises summary and detailed schedules for ongoing project reporting and other program management; implements corrective measures for out of sequence activities;
- Ensures schedules correlate within the project cost data;
- Estimates time element of change orders and incorporates within the schedule.
- Evaluates critical path compliance and makes recommendations; actively seeks out schedule optimization opportunities;
- Identifies and reports schedule variances and trends including loss of productivity;
- Suggests corrective measures and develop recovery plans derived from workshops with project stakeholders;
- Communicates project-critical items with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of project milestones;
- Performs detailed review of contractor schedules and work sequences and documenting changes to the schedule;
- Evaluates loss of time & performing high-level delay analysis for the substantiation of extension of time claims;
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Advises and assists team members in the development of their schedules.
- Confers with supervisors to determine status of assigned projects;
- Attends progress meetings and present progress and schedule issues;
- Prepares and presents progress reports;
- Communicates project status and potential risks with top management outside of the project environment.
- A minimum of 3 years of scheduling experience with experience in P6
- Experience working on complex projects;
- Extensive knowledge of the principles and practices of project management;
- Strong analytical skills of schedule related data;
- Proficiency with scheduling software (Primavera P6) and Microsoft Office suite;
- Working knowledge of industry practice delay analysis methodologies;
- Ability to work under pressure in a Client facing role.

Position Summary
Performing project schedule/planning functions in a client facing capacity in the areas of project schedule development, project schedule oversight, schedule forecasting, schedule maintenance, critical path analysis, reporting, obtaining schedule updates and update verification/validation.
Salary Range: $60,000 -$80.000
