      Compensation includes a base salary of $119,600.00 - $199,400.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

      We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Cloud Engineer with a strong focus on Citrix and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) to take ownership of customer environment management, maintaining, and optimizing secure, scalable, and high-performing virtual desktop environments across our top cloud customers. Hands-on leadership role that blends deep technical expertise with operational excellence and customer-facing collaboration.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Customer Environment Management: Maintain and optimize multiple client environments, ensuring performance, security, and compliance.
      • Incident & Crisis Management: Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and escalate high-priority issues; lead root cause analysis and resolution.
      • Operational Excellence: Manage ticket backlogs, update environments with LTSR/CU/security patches, and ensure compatibility across OS, apps, and tools.
      • Collaboration & Communication: Deliver a customer-first experience via phone, email, and ticketing systems; interface with vendors and internal teams to resolve complex issues.
      • Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Provide technical guidance to Skill PODs, review RFCs, and contribute to internal knowledge base documentation.
      • Automation & Optimization: Use PowerShell and other tools to automate tasks, optimize performance, and streamline operations.
      • Security & Compliance: Implement cybersecurity best practices, including CVE remediation, certificate management, and environment hardening.

      Required Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 6 years’ experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 4 years’ experience; or 10 years’ experience in a related field
      • Experience with Citrix NetScaler, including Gateway configuration, high availability, MFA integration (Azure/Okta/Duo), nFactor authentication, load balancing, SSL offloading, certificate management, and NetScaler Console (ADM)
      • Experience with Citrix Workspace Environment Management (WEM), including architecture, resource optimization, policy/action configuration, rules/filters, configuration sets, and templates
      • Strong understanding of Citrix Product Sets
      • Demonstrated ability working with customers/clients on providing technical solutions
      • Willingness to participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation and work flexible shifts as needed.

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Certifications:
        • Citrix Certified Associate/Professional (CCA-V, CCP-V, CCP-AppDS)
        • Nerdio Certified Engineer
      • Experience with:
        • Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops 2203 LTSR+, including image management, Citrix Profile Containers, FSLogix, and FAS (Federated Authentication Service)
        • Provisioning Services (PVS) and PowerShell scripting, vDisk versioning, deployment, and automation
        • Windows Server (2016–2025) Management, Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, and Certificate Authority services, including Citrix FAS integration
        • N-able, Veeam, and backup/restoration tools
        • Networking (FortiGate, VPN, VeloCloud, firewalls)
        • MFA/2FA solutions (Duo, Azure MFA, Workspace One)
