      Collins Aerospace is seeking an experienced Lean Transformation Leader. You will be responsible for executing a structured five step approach to process improvement and introduces systematic changes at a site, cell, and functional level. You will also serve as the functional expert, coach and deployment champion of Lean Transformation across Landing Systems OE and MRO sites (domains) and will chair the LS (Landing Systems) Transformation committee (Senior Leadership, Functional leadership, Site Leadership and LT Leaders). CORE is the Raytheon Technologies continuous improvement operating system that aligns all major elements of the business and its processes so that they work together in a harmonious system.

      This role serves in a Remote capacity. Position not eligible for relocation

      Primary Responsibilities :

      • Serve as primary Lean Transformation leader for LS BU
      • Develop, gain alignment, and deploy Transformation Roadmap for LS
      • Develop and chair Transformation Committee
      • Partner with SLT and Site Leadership to select high potential Lean Transformation Leaders chartered with implementation.
        • Develop cohort type process.
        • Serve as focal for tactical lean event support on critical to business items.
      • Communicate and present to senior leadership regarding lean transformation process improvements.
      • Travel required 75% internationally and domestically.
      • Perform other duties as required.

      Basic Qualifications

      • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.
      • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

      • Experience in Lean Manufacturing practices (TPS based)
      • Experience with Manufacturing Operations/Shop Floor Management
      • Experience leading cross-functional teams and leaders.
      • Experience with Lean Continuous Improvement (CI) tools and methodologies
      • Experience with Microsoft Office PowerPoint and Excel.

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Certified Lean Transformation Leader
      • Familiarity with LS businesses
      • CORE Expert / ACE Practitioner (or equivalent, i.e. 6 sigma)
      • Experience driving tangible process improvements in a Business Process environment.
      • Experience working within a complex matrix organization.

      The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
