- You will support the senior team in the development and implementation of effective learning and development strategies, policies, approaches and plans which meet Trust requirements to ensure the development of a skilled and competent workforce.
- Work closely with the senior organisational development team to support with the design, implementation and delivery of in-house training and development pathways.
- Co-ordinate and facilitate learning and development pathways that will support the development of line managers to improve their learning and development capability and capacity
- Work with the Assistant Director of Organisational Development and Culture, Professional Education Lead, Clinical Educators and other professional leads to ensure a coordinated approach to the identification of and response to development needs.
- Work closely with the Associate Director of Organisational Development and Culture and HR Business Partners to ensure education, training and development is aligned to local and strategic workforce plans.
- Assist with the commercial agenda through offering creative ways to improve engagement within teams and building effective high performing teams.
- Working with teams across the Trust to support a programme of continuous organisational performance improvement which helps the Trust achieve its ambition of becoming an employer of choice.
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience plus further training and experience to post graduate diploma equivalent
- Learning and development qualification.
- Post graduate diploma
- Completion of accredited leadership development / change management and learning methodologies.
- Qualified to administer and feedback 360 Degree appraisals
- MBTI or similar team dynamics practitioner
- Advanced IT Systems including - Microsoft Office
- Leading, coaching and building capability in learning and development which is inclusive to all.
- Training, learning and development contribution to workforce planning.
- Experience of communicating with a range of people both within and external to the organisation
- Managing blended and digital learning to a diverse audience
- NHS experience
- Experience within relevant work area
- Developing education, training or workforce strategies aligned to business goals.
- Delivering cultural change.

The Learning and Development Facilitator is key to delivering the Trust's organisational development agenda through managing and facilitating courses and workshops along with the administrative tasks that sit alongside this to ensure the smooth running of the team's delivery commitments.
You will support the transformation and skill development of the workforce by undertaking training needs analysis, developing training plans, providing expertise and skill in commissioning high quality learning and development.
