      About our group:

      The US Benefits team is responsible for the implementation and administration of all benefit programs for the US. With the addition of this experienced Benefit Analyst in MN, the US Benefits team will have members located in each of our Tier 1 US sites allowing us to provide in person support to our employees. Other team members are in our Fremont, CA and Longmont, CO locations.

      Reporting to the Director of Total Rewards - Americas, you will be responsible for the oversight of all US Disability & Leave Programs ensuring compliance with all new federal and state regulations.

      About the role - you will:

      • Oversee US Disability & Leave programs including managing third-party administrator, ERISA counsel, Legal and HR as required in compliance with federal and state legislation
      • Create and update various benefit policies and related program documentation
      • Partner with the HR Call Center to train on new benefit programs and manage escalations
      • Develop comprehensive proposals for new or updated benefits and create related training materials and communications as required
      • Manage various US benefit programs
      • Lead RFPs and new vendor implementations for various US benefits and partner with broker on renewals and program design changes
      • Support analysis related to mergers & acquisitions as required
      • Create presentations to support annual open enrollment

      Your experience includes:

      • Managing disability and leave programs including managing vendor/third party administrator relations ensuring compliance with applicable regulations
      • Extensive experience with federal and state disability / leave regulations
      • Excellent project management and presentation skills
      • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Power Point
      • HR and Payroll systems
      • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience

      Location:

      We are open to the incumbent working a REMOTE work structure based in Minnesota. There will be job fairs, benefit events that will require onsite availablility in our Bloomington, MN manufacturing site and our Shakopee, MN design center from time to time. First preference is the availability for a Hybrid work structure 1 day a week in Bloomington and 1 day a week in Shakopee.) with 2 days remote.

      Bloomington, MN:

      Our Normandale campus spans two suburbs, Edina and Bloomington, and serves as the Recording Head development and manufacturing arm of Seagate.
