Mortgage Loan Origination Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Licensed Mortgage Loan Origination Assistant to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed mortgage loan officers in preparing and processing loan applications
- Gather and verify necessary documentation from clients to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Communicate with clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders to facilitate the loan process
- Review loan files for compliance with federal and state regulations
- Coordinate with underwriters, processors, and other team members to ensure timely loan approvals
- Maintain accurate records of all loan activities and client interactions
- Stay updated on industry regulations, loan products, and company policies
Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid mortgage license in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Proven experience as a mortgage loan assistant or similar role
- Strong understanding of mortgage loan processes and documentation requirements
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Proficiency in mortgage software and MS Office Suite
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
