Cold Forming Heading or Thread Rolling Operator

What You’ll Do
As a Machine Set-up Cold Forming Heading and or Rolling Operator, you will be responsible for setting-up and operate multiple heading or rolling machines to satisfy required quality, safety and production standards to performing the following duties: selection and loading of raw material, machine adjustments, tool adjustments and changes, inspection fixtures adjustments, part inspection and documentation, preventive maintenance, following 5s practice, following Kanban procedures, adhering to good safety practices, minimizing scrap production, and working to team building standards. You must follow all safety and work policy requirements while performing job duties.

• Operate multiple cold forming and parts forming machines
• Perform adjustments and replacement to maintain a quality part
• Perform part quality checks
• Separating dies and inserts
• Move finished parts from machinery
• Operate an overhead crane to move raw material as needed

Shift: 10:30pm to 7:00am Sunday-Thursday

Pay: $19.00-$22.50

Expecting to fill Heading and Rolling Operator Positions within 2 weeks after you apply for the role and selected for the role.

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend the English language.
• Basic computer skills to enter data and look up job information
• Ability to read measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers and related equipment
• Must be able to work overtime as mandated
• Background in mechanical work/field and/or basic mechanical aptitude preferred.

What you’ll need:

• Six months of related experience and or training, one- year certificate from a college or technical school, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Machine aptitude
• Trouble shooting experience
• Good communication
• Organization and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work as a team
• Ability to lift container up to 25lbs (repetitively) to 100lbs (occasionally)
• Ability to stand for extended periods, use of hands, walk, bend, and or twist
• Ability to work 12+ hours (including Saturdays and Sundays)
