- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and HGB and manage effective alignments with our external auditors to ensure efficient audit procedures
- Be the advisor on financial implications to your stakeholders including business, while ensuring full compliance with international and local accounting standards
- Proactively screen latest developments of relevant GAAP and propose adjustments to accounting practice to support the businesses in optimal financial steering
- Continuously optimize processes and seek to showcase state-of-the-art accounting practices - both for your own role but also within and for the broader international accounting community
- Master's degree in business administration with specialisation in Accounting, PhD is a plus
- 3-5 years proven experience in audit or accounting in an IFRS environment
- Aside proficiency in SAP-FI/CO, eager to continuously adopt new tools, you strive for an AI-enhanced workstyle, apply advanced excel skills including VBA and power query and embrace working with data visualisation tools like Power BI
- Excellent applied knowledge of IFRS and HGB
- Solid end-to-end understanding of business operations and its effect onto financial KPI and processes in Accounting including Book-keeping and cost accounting
- Experience in (leading) projects to conceptualize changes in Accounting
- Fluent English and German language skills
