      THE ROLE

      The Manager, Inventory & Asset Management – Olympics & Paralympics is primarily responsible for assisting in the creation and day to day management Olympic inventory and assets , including but not limited to event tickets, venues and spaces, and other assets used to create commercial product offerings . The Manager works closely with the Director and other team members to create a positive and efficient environment focused on tracking, managing, maximizing, and mitigating assets in association with commercial product offerings for the Olympic games . This position will be a shared resource for multiple functional areas, focused on detailed inventory management across multiple systems and complex data structures while evaluating opportunities and providing recommendations for strategic monetization and constant risk and liability assessment . The Manager collaborates in developing and driving concepts and event processes across all Olympic workstreams, including but not limited to Leadership, Technology, Ticketing, Finance and Accounting, Event Production, Operations, Transportation, and Accommodations teams.

      ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

      Primary Responsibilities

      • Assist in d esign ing and implement ing a master inventory tracking system to optimize inventory control procedures for all assets associated with Olympic and Paralympic functional areas, including but not limited to event tickets, hospitality venues and spaces, hotel rooms, transportation vehicles, and more.

      • Extract, organize , and analyze data daily while monitoring trends and providing insight to team and business leads as to actionable next steps based on data analysis.

      • Develop and maintain a mastery of our internal workflow processes and Inventory Management System(s), including data analytics models and overall reporting cadences.

      • Assist in researching and identifying both short term and long-term tools, in coordination with On Location Technology team and third-party vendors, to establish integrations between multiples inventory tracking system s, databases, and data models.

      • Develop a working knowledge of the business, conducting and collaborating on a needs assessment with each of the On Location Functional Areas to properly understand the overall project specific to inventory tracking and management.

      • Coordinate with Product, Pricing, and Finance & Analytics, among other Functional Areas, to constantly evaluate current inventory and assets against overall financial road map and anticipate future needs.

      • Ensure there is a range of visual dashboards and reports available from the platform for both the client and On Location teams. These reports will provide operational insight into the status of the commercial hospitality program(s).

      • Design and implement proper tools to help identify and evaluate ROI opportunities for the commercial hospitality program.

      • Identify and evaluate risks in relation to current sales and market trends, collaborating with Ticketing, Pricing, and Product on mitigation strategies.

      • Establish operational accountability (e.g., checklists, quality assurance tests, project management) for the Product team and share best practices across other workstreams.

      Required Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

      • Bachelor’s Degree in Analytics, Hospitality, Sports Management, Business or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.

      • Excellent computer skills with high proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and experience using different software platforms including Project Management and BI tools .

      • Experience with extracting, organizing and tracking large complex data structures

      • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and manage concurrent priorities

      • Technology savvy

      • Attention to detail

      • C ritical-thinking skills to identify and establish action plans while continuously assessing effectiveness

      • Comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment, identifying and making the most of opportunities while learning and continuously making adjustments

      • High level of collaboration and communication within the team and across workstreams, demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills

      • Proactive in identifying areas where support can be provided in order to meet deadlines

      • Must be comfortable working across multiple time zones

      • Fluent in E nglish, ability to communicate or willingness to learn o ther languages
