What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage and develop a remote-first team of mobile engineers, focusing on performance and career growth
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and other stakeholders to drive alignment and influence strategy
- Execute the team's roadmap, ensuring accountability for delivering results predictably
- Lead recruitment efforts to expand the team's Android capabilities
- Foster strong engineering practices that emphasize quality, reliability, and observability
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 2+ years of experience leading a mobile team responsible for an application with thousands of monthly active users
- 5+ years of experience delivering mobile applications, with expertise in Swift/iOS or Kotlin/Android
- Technical awareness of how mobile apps interact with backend services and networking layers
- Experience making data-driven decisions and owning team metrics related to app performance
- Proven track record of managing distributed engineering and QA teams in a remote-first culture
