      We in Wärtsilä ANCS are now looking for a

      Sales and Operations Planning Manager (m/f/d)

      to join our Materials Management team and further develop our sales and operation planning on a global level. The position is permanent and the preferred location for the position is in Hamburg - Germany, but also Horsholm - Denmark, Schiedam - The Netherlands and Vaasa - Finland can be considered.

      For us to be the best match, we expect you to have strong SAP knowledge especially in production planning and experience from co-operating with sales and PMO but also have strong focus and experience process development.

      As a Manager Sales and Operations Planning, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

      • Ownership of Voyage Operations key processes’ development: S&OP (Sales and Operations planning), Warehouse, Assembly
      • Ownership of Voyage ANCS S&OP meeting; Orders Forecast / factory capacity / lead time / supplier forecast
      • Improve sales forecast usage and understanding within ANCS
      • Collaborate with SCM planning, Sales and PMO regarding availability especially for “fast track deliveries”
      • Plan production slots in SAP according S&OP meeting and production orders according order intake
      • Allocate the goods produced to orders according to PMO priorities.
      • Design, implement and manage effective and efficient Operations processes together with subject experts to deliver quality outcomes
      • Define, document and communicate process objectives, targets and measurements together with Process Owners
      • Align all stakeholders to process and ensure that they contribute sufficiently to secure that the process works effectively once implemented
      • Identify process improvement opportunities, Manage documentation, policies and training related to the process
      • Collaborate with process owners for end to end process alignments
      • Review, approve and communicate process changes and/or improvements
      • Ensure that processes are well integrated in systems and tools

      To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

      • Strong experience of process development and continuous improvement of processes and tools
      • Strong SAP experience especially in the area of production planning
      • Strong can do attitude and capability to make things happen
      • Understanding and experience of cross functional business process alignment
      • Proven Project Management skills, familiar with Agile methods
      • Excellent oral and written communication skills (English is mandatory)
      • Ability to collaborate and drive the change in cross-functional alliances
      • Understanding of ops fundamentals is highly beneficial
      • Experience of transformation program or acquisition/post-merge integration is seen as an advantage
