Job Description

- Manage the process engineering discipline. Lead all process engineering activities in support of manufacturing operations. Act as technical staff resource for the location in designing processes and equipment to produce products. Focus on managerial concerns of projects, such as cost, completion date, and resource allocation. Provide expert resolution of issues and monitors integration of work. Review technical concepts of major projects and detail equipment specification. Participate in solving difficult technical problems.
- Researches, evaluates and enhances the organization's most complex production processes in order to maximize efficiency, minimize waste and costs, and improve output.
- Gathering data quantifying production efficiency. Evaluating available technologies and resources in order to develop achievable process improvement goals.
- Evaluating complex manufacturing processes and equipment to identify and recommend machinery upgrades that could increase efficiency or quality.
- Leading efforts to evaluate raw or unfinished goods; recommending effective ways to improve the quality of finished products and/or minimize production process waste.
