      Marketer Liaison

      Professional Credentials and experience:

      Must have marketing experience in the home health industry or related field.

      Must have strong organizational skills, and prioritization skills.

      Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

      Must have knowledge of payer sources, physician's groups, and medical referral needs.

      Must know the community and referral sources.

      Experience with Microsoft office/Excel preferred.

      Position Description:

      The Marketer Liaison increases the market share and topline revenue (Sales) through their sales and marketing efforts in assigned areas. The Marketer Liaison, makes sales calls, follows up on referrals sources, current patient hospitalizations, is responsible for expanding the managed care patient base, and maintaining existing referral sources.

      The goal of the Marketer Liaison to expand exposure outside of the traditional office setting, and increase revenues in undeveloped market areas. The Marketer Liaison and overcomes competitive obstacles and manages sales efforts amid conflicting priorities such as lack of staff, competitive pricing, and geographic differences.

      The Marketer Liaison position requires contact driving and mobility and will include some travel to reach underserved populations and undeveloped areas.

      Duties and responsibilities:
      1. Performs analysis of potential market opportunities, studies demographics, establishes leads.
      2. Provides a weekly sales report of activity, and referral growth.
      3. Provides a bi-weekly mileage report.
      4. Develop a sales plan primarily with the Administrator/Assistant Administrator/Clinical Director/Clinical Manager.
      5. Creates growth opportunities by developing community relations and identifying referral sources (eg. Hospitals, nursing homes, managed care professionals, physicians, and other members of the health care community)
      6. Works with Administrator/Assistant Administrator/Clinical Director/Clinical Manager to strengthen Emerald Home Health's image with business decision makers.
      7. Develops and markets specialized programs to meet the identified needs of current and potential clients. (ex. Blood pressure screenings in the community)
      8. Increases community awareness of Emerald Home Health services through media exposure, local publications, health fairs and other publicity opportunities.
      9. Assists existing clients with discharge planning.
      10. Assist all staff with understanding the importance of service to sales.
      11. Provides leadership in fostering community involvement in client education.
      12. Assists Human Resources with recruitment and Job fair attendance.
      13. Other duties may be assigned.


      Marketer/Liaison Incentive plan: Bonus payout will be issued the following calendar month after it was earned "admit month". The monthly incentive will be calculated as follows:

      For each referral that the Liaison brings to intake that results in an admission, that is on Home Health services for at least two weeks, the Liaison will receive a bonus.
