What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Receive and manage refund requests in a timely and appropriate manner
- Accurately post and record refunds to insurance companies and patients
- Communicate with attorneys, no-fault insurances, workers' compensation, and the Veterans Administration as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Department Manager
- Ensure all refunds are properly submitted and recorded
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Cash posting or refunds experience is required
- Strong mathematical ability and understanding of Explanations of Benefits (EOBs)
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure while maintaining composure
- Punctual, dependable, and accountable for work
- Computer literacy, including the ability to work with two monitors
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience handling refunds is helpful
- Collaborative team player with a pleasant and professional demeanor
- Strong follow-through and quick learning ability
- Comfortable asking questions and seeking clarification when needed
