      Medical Receptionist

      Job Description

      We are seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join a senior care program located in Sacramento, CA.

      Responsibilities

      • Provide front desk and clerical support in a patient-facing department within a PACE senior care program.
      • Serve as the first point of contact for patients, staff, and visitors.
      • Manage incoming calls, scheduling, message distribution, and general inquiries.
      • Maintain organized filing systems, logs, and departmental records.
      • Support daily office operations in a fast-paced environment.
      • Ensure accurate communication and follow-up.
      • Deliver high-quality service to patients and internal teams.

      Essential Skills

      • MUST have 2+ years of experience in receptionist, front desk, or administrative support roles.
      • Experience in healthcare or patient-facing environments.
      • Proven consistent work history with minimal job changes.
      • Experience with high-volume call handling, scheduling, and front desk workflows.
      • Proficiency in administrative office procedures, filing systems, and documentation.
      • Ability to manage multiple tasks, inquiries, and walk-ins in a fast-paced setting.
      • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with patients, staff, and visitors.
      • High School Diploma or GED required.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Experience with Epic or similar EMR systems.
      • Experience in PACE, outpatient clinic, or senior care settings.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar administrative tools.
      • Experience maintaining logs, schedules, or basic departmental records.
      • Ability to support basic clerical projects or departmental coordination.

      Work Environment

      The work environment is onsite, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. This role is patient-facing within a dynamic and fast-paced senior care setting.

      Job Type & Location

      This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, CA.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
