What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Shadow the Innovation and Digital Access (IDiA) team in producing educational and tech tutorial videos
- Practice video editing on content related to digital literacy and technologies used by newcomers
- Assist with tasks such as trimming clips, adding captions, and organizing project assets
- Participate in weekly learning sessions on storytelling, instructional clarity, and video accessibility
- Complete a final project that integrates lessons learned throughout the internship
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Current student or recent graduate in communications, design, film, social work, or a related field
- Must be able to provide documentation from an academic institution
- Passion for video editing, digital storytelling, and educational content creation
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with video editing tools such as CapCut, KineMaster, or DaVinci Resolve
- Understanding of refugee resettlement and the role of digital tools in supporting newcomer integration
