What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Promote and grow Neurocrine products within a specific geographic territory through strategic account management
- Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and key stakeholders in the mental health and neurology fields
- Execute territory sales strategies to meet or exceed sales objectives through in-person and virtual communications
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including marketing, patient access, and medical communications
- Uphold the highest ethical standards and compliance with FDA guidelines in all professional interactions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS/BA degree in science or related field AND a minimum of 4 years of commercial pharma/biotech experience, with 3+ years in specialty pharmaceutical or related sales
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory environments and proven track record of meeting sales objectives
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage complex accounts across varied care sites
- Proficient in sales platforms and business intelligence tools such as Salesforce.com and SAP
- Must reside within the assigned territory and possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree in science or related field with 2+ years of experience in similar roles
- Experience in psychiatry, neurology, or antipsychotic sales
- Familiarity with specialty pharmacy distribution
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work within cross-functional teams
- Intellectual curiosity and a results-oriented mindset
