What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Drive product acceptance and growth through targeted education and strategic account management
- Execute territory sales strategies to meet or exceed objectives through in-person and virtual communications
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including healthcare providers and community clinics
- Uphold the highest ethical standards and compliance with FDA guidelines
- Maintain full field presence with flexibility for occasional evening/weekend events
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS/BA degree in science or related field AND minimum of 4 years of commercial pharma/biotech experience, including 3+ years in specialty pharmaceutical or LTC sales
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory environments and proven track record of meeting sales objectives
- Ability to lead and participate in cross-functional teams, demonstrating leadership skills
- Proficiency with sales platforms and business intelligence tools such as Salesforce.com and Oracle
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong sales and account management disposition
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in psychiatry, neurology, or antipsychotic sales
- Close-door or specialty pharmacy distribution experience
- Knowledge of best practices in functional disciplines and broader business concepts
- Proven ability to navigate complex accounts across varied care sites
- Entrepreneurial attitude and experience in performance-based environments
