What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform month-end close following the firm's month-end closing checklist
- Create and analyze management financial reports
- Perform investment reconciliation
- Prepare various financial statements and reports
- Prepare footnotes explaining variances against the budget
- Prepare Board packages for client Finance/Audit/Board meetings
- Assist with year-end external audit preparations
- Maintain compliance with tax and benefit regulations
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures
- Supervise team members
- Suggest and implement technology upgrades for efficiency

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree with 4-6 years of experience OR 8 years of experience without a Bachelor's degree
- Experience with nonprofit accounting
- Experience with project management and/or client management
- Experience working in multiple environments and balancing the needs of several clients
- Grant accounting experience preferred
